Co-op Applications Engineer Job Description

**Temporary Full-Time Opportunity**

As a Co-op Applications Engineer at Renesas, you will have the opportunity to learn about our flagship timing devices focused on the Industrial, datacenter, automobile, and 5G market. Your primary focus will be measuring the typical performance of our RF PLL devices on the bench, requiring extensive lab work and scripting, as well as interacting with cross-functional teams, to achieve the best performance possible.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct frequency domain signals analysis, including phase noise, BODE plots, FFTs, and spectrum analysis.
  • Operate lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and function generators.
  • Develop and implement Python scripts to automate tasks and analyze data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.


**Requirements:**
  • Good understanding of frequency domain signals analysis.
  • Experience with lab equipment and Python programming.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
