We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and Implementing Logistics Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage the company's logistics strategy to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Managing Storage, Transportation, and Distribution Operations: Oversee storage, transportation, and distribution operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  • Supervising Logistics Team: Supervise a team of 20 logistics professionals, fostering their growth and engagement, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Leading Continuous Improvement Projects: Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize logistics costs, enhance service quality, and improve processes.
  • Overseeing Transportation Operations: Negotiate rates with service providers, evaluate logistics performance, and ensure compliance with customs documentation for international shipments.
  • Collaborating with Suppliers and Partners: Work with suppliers and partners to improve processes, ensure efficient supply chain operations, and maintain strong relationships.

Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Management and Leadership Skills: Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
  • Logistics Management Tools and Software: Proficiency in logistics management tools and software.
  • Team-oriented, Organized, and Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
