About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.

Hire and Manage Staff

Hire food service staff and manage their performance, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.

Record Keeping

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.

Work Schedules

Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and that customer service is maintained.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience
