Dental Care Specialist

We are a dynamic dental practice in Truro, Nova Scotia, dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients. With over 30 years of experience and a newly built office, we offer comprehensive services under one roof.
As a full-time Associate Dentist, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals, including two registered dental hygienists and a dedicated treatment coordinator. Together, you will provide high-quality care to our patients, encompassing both restorative and preventive dentistry.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process is required. Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements, as well as valid CPR certification, are also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough oral examinations and accurately diagnose dental conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Carry out a range of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes
