Job Title: Gymnastics Coach

We are seeking a skilled Gymnastics Coach to join our team at Victoria Gymnastics Downtown.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions for our gymnasts. They will also be responsible for analyzing and evaluating athletes' or team's performance, as well as observing and evaluating prospective athletes' skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and implement training and practice sessions for gymnasts
  • Analyze and evaluate athletes' or team's performance
  • Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance
  • Administer first-aid and other assistance as needed
  • Participate in coaching clinic instruction and other coaching-related activities
Requirements:
  • Level 1 Certificate in Coaching
  • CPR Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a team of experienced coaches and staff. They will be required to work a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to travel to competitions and other events.
