Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Industrial Shift Leader to join our team in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for managing shift operations, directing employees, and ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.



About the Role


This is a 12-hour rotating shift position, working in a steel manufacturing environment. You will be required to manage and rotate in shift work, as well as perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas.



Responsibilities



  • Manage shift operations in a production facility
  • Direct employees and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Follow up on productivity, downtime, delays, and quality KPIs
  • Perform quality and safety inspections
  • Interface with maintenance on routine and non-routine items
  • Analyze and provide solutions for critical failures
  • Report on daily productivity and delays
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, and management standards, and ensure adherence with all laws and regulations
  • Proactively motivate, coach, communicate with and develop staff, and manage HR-related activities


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • +10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical design and drafting, CAD preferable
  • Ability to perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas
  • Ability to manage and rotate in shift work
  • Good knowledge of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry an asset
  • Intermediate Excel and Office skills
  • Safety and Quality minded, detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and analytical skills


What We Offer


Tenaris offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, plus company-based bonuses. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including an employer-paid pension plan, and relocation assistance may be provided in some instances.
