About the Role:

The Senior Optimization Specialist will be responsible for driving business growth and improvement initiatives across Parkland Corporation. This role will focus on identifying and executing opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Demand Planning and Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, ensuring alignment with sales and supply operations.
  • Opportunity Registry Management: Identify, prioritize, and develop business cases for cross-functional project opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders to drive value creation.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to implement short- and long-term projects, focusing on process improvements, cost reductions, and revenue growth.
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring contract compliance and optimizing purchasing agreements.
  • Business Intelligence and Analytics: Utilize business intelligence tools to analyze data, identify trends, and inform business decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication, ensuring alignment across business units and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in Engineering, Economics, or Sciences.
  • Experience: 8-10 years in products supply, refining, or fuels marketing, with a strong background in business improvement and project management.
  • Skills: Exceptional collaboration, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive change and improve processes.
