Job Description:

We are looking for a Head Chef who will oversee the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing kitchen staff and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure effective teamwork
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a Head Chef in a busy restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage kitchen staff
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Basic mathematical skills to manage inventory and ordering
