About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team at Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. in a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Repair and Maintain Machinery: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of defective parts to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Supervise and Train: Oversee and guide other workers in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Install and Commission: Install new machinery and equipment, and commission them for use.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Analyze and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification: Possess a valid certification in Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) trade.
  • Experience with Machinery and Equipment: Have experience working with high-speed packaging equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, and compressors.
  • Education and Training: Possess a certificate or diploma in a related trade or field.
  • Language and Communication: Fluently speak and write in English.
