Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
- Documentation: Obtain and manage necessary permits and documents for international routes, as well as record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless coordination with our logistics team.
- Certifications: Possess an AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to handle heavy loads, and proficiency in repetitive tasks.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
As a Truck Driver with CH LOGISTICS, you can expect to work 35 hours per week in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Language and Work EnvironmentThe primary language of work is English, and you will be working in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
