About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Director to lead our DevOps team and drive strategic project initiatives. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for managing a team of DevOps engineers, working with tech leads and engineers on planning and implementing strategic DevOps projects, and guiding planning and continuous improvement through retrospectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of DevOps engineers and lead strategic project initiatives
  • Work with tech leads and engineers on planning and implementing DevOps projects
  • Guide planning and continuous improvement through retrospectives
  • Create project schedules and align with development and central teams
  • Ensure deadlines are met and communicate status and risks with the project team and partners
  • Mitigate risks and escalate conflicts
  • Build and evolve a team, identify resourcing needs, and provide developmental opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally on AAA game franchises or similar software development projects
  • 5+ years of people management and leadership experience
  • Experience in solving complex problems and analyzing situations
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
