About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at the University of Toronto. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in analyzing business needs and developing solutions to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and plan IT projects to ensure timely and successful delivery
  • Develop and implement business system processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Analyze existing service and process procedures to identify areas for improvement
  • Document business requirements and develop project schedules
  • Oversee the intake process for new project and change requests
  • Provide advice and data to support the development of business cases and analytics
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, plus completed certificates or training in business analysis, risk management, project management, and technical/business writing
  • Minimum five years of direct experience in overseeing and analyzing complex IT initiatives
  • Proven experience in leading the investigation and development of business solutions, coordinating stakeholders and project teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Visio and MS Office 365, including MS Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Power Automate, and Power Apps
