Department: Production
Reports to: Production Supervisor

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Operator to join our production team at Mariposa Dairy Ltd. As a Technical Operator, you will be responsible for coordinating the operation of production equipment in accordance with all Dairy procedures, safety and Health regulations to provide superior work output.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Run the Multi-Vac pack line and other equipment as required.
* Fill out appropriate Packing reports accurately as required.
* Assist in change overs, set up or tear down of the pack line machines as required.
* Assist with rolling or packing as required.
* At end of day be responsible for the cleaning up of equipment in preparation for sanitation.
* Communicate with Supervisors, Lead Hands and other employees.
* Maintain good communication between all team members.
* Work in an efficient, timely, safe and productive manner at all times.
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities including training of others.

**Requirements:**

* Must be a motivated self-starter
* Positive attitude towards change
* Attention to detail
* Good mathematical skills
* Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures
* Complete forms accurately
* Skilled with Excel
* Must have mechanical aptitude
* Able to lead in a team environment

* Completion of the Technical Operator Training Course
