**Bobst Flat Bed Die Cutter Operator**
We are looking for an experienced Bobst Flat Bed Die Cutter Operator for our client located in **Kawartha Lakes**. The company is an independent custom folding carton manufacturer.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the safe setup and operation of die-cutting machinery and related equipment.
- Reads, understands and follows docket and verbal instructions and specifications, seeking clarification and guidance if/as necessary.
- Locates appropriate stock and loads it into the die cutter.
- Unloads finished product from delivery of die cutter.
- Able to operate jogger/aerator assets.
- Set up, operate, and run the die-cutting equipment while keeping within the required specifications, requirements, and production speeds.
- Ensures a high-quality product is consistently and efficiently produced, minimizing waste.
- Undertakes in-process inspections at required intervals making fine-tune adjustments to equipment as required.
- Immediately reports quality issues and non-conformances to management.
- Enters production data in a timely manner into the computer ensuring accuracy.
- Completes docket and department-related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Undertakes routine troubleshooting and maintenance of machinery, documenting accordingly.
- Must be punctual and able to always follow plant rules.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in the operation, set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Bobst Die Cutter.
- Must be able to analyze and correct issues that can occur during the cutting/creasing process.
- Dexterity to use tooling and undertake precise equipment adjustments.
- Interpersonal skills to work co-operatively as part of our manufacturing team.
- Able to make decisions and exercise sound judgment on a continual basis.
- Keen visual inspection skills to detect quality defects.
- Knowledge of computers to be able to learn/use custom software programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (assisted as needed for greater amounts) and push/pull up to 500 - 1000 lbs. with the use of a pump truck.

**Pay Rate**:$20/hr - $25/hr.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
