Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunities in Oshawa

About Us:
Side by Side ABA Therapy is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and therapies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs.
We are currently seeking highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team as independent contractors.
Job Summary:This part-time position involves working one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities, providing evidence-based speech and language therapy in the child's home environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, designing treatment plans, engaging clients and families in goal-oriented coaching, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments in the client's home using standardized tools and protocols.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that address client-centered goals and objectives.
- Engage clients, families, and caregivers in active coaching and support to promote progress toward established goals.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make data-driven decisions to adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services in the client's home environment.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
- Excellent assessment and intervention skills, with experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
- Experience providing home-based services and adapting to diverse client needs.
- Proof of professional liability insurance and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- 2-3 years of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a similar setting.
Salary: $85-$105 per hour, based on experience, education, and professional credentials.
