Job Description

We are seeking a talented Internship - Extractive Metallurgy professional to join our team. As an extractive metallurgist, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to work on various projects, performing tasks related to consulting engineering such as study, design, detailed engineering, or commissioning.

You will have the opportunity to apply established calculation and design methods, participate in the preparation and review of process schematics and instrumentation/pipework diagrams, develop mass and water balances using software like Excel, Bilmat, MetSim, or HSC, size process equipment, assist in the development of internal tools and research in emerging technologies, and receive theoretical and practical training on various phases of the work related to your field of academic knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a university program in metallurgical or chemical engineering
  • Minimum knowledge of reading drawings
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite and other relevant software
  • Aptitude for self-development
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
