Diesel Engine Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Primary Auto & Tire INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Service attachments and working tools
- Verify and repair emission control systems
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 35 hours of work per week
