Job Opportunity

Metric Recruitment is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a proven track record of success in technical sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services.
  • Promote and sell technical solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Build relationships with customers from various levels of the organization.
  • Create and present professional proposals to clients.
  • Follow up on customer proposals and maintain quote/order tracking details.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites to promote the company's products and services.
  • Arrange and conduct customer proposal presentations/meetings.
  • Provide exceptional customer support.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to create new marketing materials.
  • Attend industry events and conferences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical sales role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Excellent customer-focused interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop high-level relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers, suppliers, and staff at all levels.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Drive to succeed and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Team player, adaptable, and innovative in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to the USA.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Education & Experience:

  • Engineering or Business degree/diploma required.
  • Minimum 5 years of previous outside technical sales experience in a similar field required.
