About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Cleaner to join our team at 1857631 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment, and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our staff and visitors.
  • Supervision and Teamwork: Supervise other workers and work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve our goals.
  • Physical Demands: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: Work in English.
