About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Sierra Lane Construction Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our workspaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Regularly sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Polishing: Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and manage linen supplies to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our employees and guests.
  • Supply Distribution: Distribute clean towels and toiletries to employees and guests as needed.
  • Stock Management: Stock linen closets and maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as operating rooms and other areas.
  • Elevator Maintenance: Clean and disinfect elevators to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Changing Room Maintenance: Clean and disinfect changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and safe environment.

  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for veterans.
