- Food Safety and Handling: Ensure that all food is handled, stored, and cooked in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Staff Training and Development: Train and develop our kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage our kitchen team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
- Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and a team player.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work Term: Permanent.
