Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will provide services to inpatients and enhance community partnerships. Key responsibilities include assessing and treating patients, promoting recovery of function, and developing skills for daily living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing and treating patients to promote recovery of function and skills for daily living
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on patient progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Recent experience in acute care medicine and surgery
  • Strong discharge planning skills and ability to work in an inter-professional team environment
  • Computer literacy and demonstrated ability to attend work regularly
