About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at 1825055 Alberta Ltd. As a Meat Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Display: Assist in the display of meat products in a visually appealing manner to attract customers.
  • Meat Preparation: Wrap and package prepared meats, weigh meats for sale, and remove bones from meat.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, answer questions about meat products, and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders for customers, including grinding meats and cutting poultry into parts.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
