About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at Lucky NE Edmonton LP. As a key member of our retail meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, answer questions about products, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Meat Department Operations: Assist in the display of merchandise, wrap and package prepared meats, weigh meats for sale, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive and stock meat products, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, standing for extended periods
