Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Advisor to join our team at Interior Health Authority. As a key member of our Physician Compensation Team, you will play a critical role in maximizing value and minimizing risk in relationships with physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Manager in reviewing and developing contract processes to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Advise Interior Health Managers on the strategic implications of contractual decisions and provide guidance on contract negotiation and renewal.
  • Provide analytical support to the Manager in project work, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure the smooth operation and continuous development of the performance management system.
  • Support the Manager in developing training materials and policies related to contract compliance and change management.
  • Provide information to support contract renewal and new contract negotiation.
  • Support relationships between the Manager and other Medical Affairs team members on strategic issues.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary diploma in a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a complex environment, preferably in contract management.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and expert knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and outside peers.
  • Professional and courteous with excellent customer service skills.
