Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice on legislative reviews and risk assessments
  • Leading projects to enhance workplace safety and security
  • Developing and implementing wellness initiatives to promote employee well-being
  • Facilitating the Early and Safe Return to Work Case Management Program

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or diploma in a related field and a Post-Secondary Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Health and Safety Specialist in the food or manufacturing industry
  • Thorough knowledge of OHS regulations, CSA standards, and WSIB case management
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
