Job Summary

The Financial Services Agent, Clientele role is a key position within our organization, responsible for maintaining business relationships with members and clients. This involves collaborating with account managers to provide sales support and ensure seamless transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support account managers in maintaining business relationships with members and clients, ensuring timely completion of documentation and transactions.
  • Assist in prioritizing weekly activities and planning follow-up and solicitation activities to drive business growth.
  • Communicate with members and clients to confirm transactions and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to members and clients, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
  • Contribute to business development through participation in solicitation activities and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date files, adhering to all applicable deadlines and standards for quality.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as those offered by our competitors.

Requirements
  • Attestation of Collegial Studies
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Ability to create financial statements
  • Knowledge of products and services for businesses and those offered by caisses, components, and Desjardins distribution networks
  • Ability to enter financial data in systems
  • Knowledge of financing and credit management practices related to businesses
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements for regulations on the distribution of financial products and services
  • Understanding of the philosophy and inner workings of a financial services cooperative
  • Knowledge of the procedures associated with opening accounts and selling complementary products and services
  • Knowledge of the Desjardins business processes
  • Knowledge of service standards
