Job Summary

This role provides administrative support to the Human Resources department through communication of policies and procedures and updating the HR systems accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the HR Manager with daily operations of the department, including system maintenance, employee relations, immigration, and global mobility matters, recruitment, and other related tasks.
  2. Assist with the maintenance of the company's Performance Management systems, including the Performance Appraisal process, Progressive Discipline process, and Performance Improvement Plan.
  3. Coordinate the Martinrea Orientation Model for all temporary and full-time employees.
  4. Complete necessary administration to ensure accurate entry into HR systems.
  5. Ensure all system requirements are met for tracking company training, update Employee/Department Training records in HR systems, update employee files, and follow up as necessary.
  6. Maintain employee files and communication boards, keeping them current and tidy, and ensuring employee files are neat, organized, and up to date.
  7. Identify and implement improvements for the HR department to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  8. Abide by all company policies, including Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook.
Required Education and Experience
  1. Completion of or in process of obtaining a Diploma in Human Resources Management.
  2. Months of experience.
  3. Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  4. Excellent English Communication skills (oral and written).
  5. Fluent in Spanish (oral and written) considered an asset.
  6. Knowledge of best practices.
  7. Strong Coordination and organizational skills.
Working Conditions

95% Office environment, 5% Plant floor (PPE required).
