Job Description

This full-time estimation role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and blueprints to create accurate, detailed plumbing estimates for commercial construction projects. You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing comprehensive bids
  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH SUBCONTRACTORS AND VENDORS
  • Ensuring every dollar is accounted for without compromising on quality

You will work closely with skilled professionals and learn from their expertise, contributing to our reputation for delivering outstanding results and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to create accurate, detailed plumbing estimates
  2. Prepare comprehensive bids and cost analysis reports
  3. Develop strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors
  4. Stay up-to-date with local building codes and regulations
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial plumbing estimating
  • A strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, methods, and local building codes
  • Proficiency in estimating software (such as Tradesware) and Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of BIM and LEED standards
  • Certification as a plumbing estimator
