About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. in a key role that will drive the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their most critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud.
  2. Revenue Growth: Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the platform in partnership with the sales team.
  3. Cloud Architecture: Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  4. Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal and customer-facing publications such as white-papers and blogs as a means of scaling your knowledge.
  5. Customer Support: Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.
Requirements
  • Cloud Technology Certification: Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
  • Pre-sales Experience: Pre-sales experience and/or experience contributing to requests for proposal
  • Cloud Architecture Experience: Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
  • Presentation Skills: Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT managers, and developers
  • Technical Degree: Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
