About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Analyst to join our HRIS team at J.D. Irving, Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of our Oracle HCM Cloud system.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Maintenance and Support: Ensure the smooth operation of our Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle Learning Cloud, and Talent Management systems.
  • Functional Configuration and Troubleshooting: Perform configuration and troubleshooting tasks to resolve system issues and improve user experience.
  • User Requirements Gathering: Work closely with users to understand their requirements for system improvements and enhancements.
  • System Efficiency and Improvement: Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Escalation: Collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve complex system issues and escalate as needed.
  • Incident Management: Monitor incidents and ensure timely resolution in accordance with service level agreements.
  • User Acceptance Testing: Execute user acceptance testing to support upgrades and enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Post-secondary education in an IT-related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in Oracle HCM Cloud and related systems.
  • Oracle Certifications: Prior experience with Oracle Certified Specialist is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively in technical terms and on a business level, and a high level of customer service/end-user service orientation.
