We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at KMC Mining Corporation. As a journeyman/woman, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment and heavy trucks. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and maintaining the highest level of safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment and heavy trucks
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
