Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at KMC Mining Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting heavy-duty equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy-duty equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations
  • Physically demanding work environment with regular overtime required
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a team environment
