Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team in the planning, design, and production of electrical engineering projects. The successful candidate will assist in the completion of electrical designs, provide design calculations, and support project managers in various electrical engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the completion of electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with project managers and electrical teammates.
  • Provide design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for medium/low voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, lightning protection systems, grounding systems, communications systems, and electrical equipment design.
  • Assist project managers in evaluating project scopes and assist with the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects.
  • Support company-wide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree Preferred.
  • 1 year of related experience in medium/low voltage power distribution systems, grounding systems, lighting systems, communications systems, and electrical equipment design.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit is required.
  • Proficiency in ETAP or EasyPower and AGI32.

Working Conditions

The majority of work is office-based, with some site visits required, which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
