About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Burnaby, Canada. As a key member of our Industrial and Infrastructure Business line, you will be responsible for leading a group of engineers and designers on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical teams on electrical engineering projects
  • Design and specify electrical power systems and equipment
  • Perform engineering studies, design, and technical evaluations
  • Review and prepare tender and construction packages
  • Direct and mentor junior staff
  • Consult with other departments and suppliers
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in design and project management. You will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Professional Engineering license in Canada. A minimum of 5 years of experience in design of electrical systems within Utility, Municipal, and Industrial sectors is required, with at least 2 years of experience designing BC Hydro station projects.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license in Canada
  • 5 years of experience in design of electrical systems
  • At least 2 years of experience designing BC Hydro station projects
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
