Electrical Engineer Commercial

Partner Staffing is a leading recruitment agency specializing in providing top talent to the Oil & Gas, Engineering, and Utilities industries. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer Level III to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the electrical design and analysis for commercial and mixed-use projects. This will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that electrical systems are designed to meet the highest standards of performance, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems, for commercial and mixed-use buildings.
- Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical designs with other building systems.
- Provide advanced technical expertise in electrical engineering and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable practices into electrical designs.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and expectations and present design concepts and technical recommendations.
- Oversee the quality control process for electrical design and installation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on commercial and mixed-use projects.
- Proficient in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP).
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in British Columbia is required.
