Job Summary:

As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying new customer partnerships, nurturing existing relationships, and delivering on our growth strategy under the guidance of our Director of Sales.

This position requires an individual with exceptional emotional and social intelligence, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the metal industry, liquid or powder paint coating, and a strong passion for achieving sales targets.

New Business Development Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Pursue new client opportunities through prospecting and networking
  • Cold call as necessary within your designated market or geographic area to maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients
  • Leverage your network connections to meet potential clients and identify key decision-makers
  • Provide clear and accurate requirements, including schematics, to our Estimating team for proper quoting
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and deals are properly managed within our CRM system, tracking and recording activity on both customer and prospect engagement
  • Work closely with our technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Liaise with paint suppliers to obtain pricing and lead-time information for providing insights to our BDM and Estimators

Preferred Work Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience, preferably in the metal fabrication, appliance manufacturing and assembly, automotive parts manufacturing, or commercial industries

Well-developed understanding of global markets, including emerging economies such as those in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and established economies like the United States, China, and South America

Education:

P.Eng. (Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering) or Bachelor's degree in Commerce

Other Qualifications:

Fluent communication skills in English, with proficiency in Spanish and/or Mandarin being an asset

Total Compensation:

We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience
