At Renesas Electronics, we're seeking a talented Co-op Analog Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our flagship Optical Interconnects products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and characterize broadband linear Drivers and TIAs using Cadence design and optimization tools.
  • Conduct extensive lab work to test and validate designs.
  • Develop and implement Python scripting and automation to streamline design processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Working towards a M.A.Sc. / PhD student in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with BiCMOS and CMOS technology.
  • Proficiency in Cadence/ADS and related EDA tools.
  • Experience with EM modeling and frequency domain signals analysis.
  • Coursework in circuit analysis and Optical/RF communications theory.
  • Strong understanding of Python programming.
