We are seeking an experienced Operations and Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient program operations and overseeing procurement activities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the operations team to support program operations.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including haulers, processors, retailers, and other service providers to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet organizational needs.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and data using Divert NS' proprietary software.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in environmental sciences, business, public administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project/program management, procurement, and/or warehouse or program operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with competitive bidding processes and procurement procedures, ideally in the public sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
