We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team at Best Western Terrace Inn and Terrace Inn Liquor Store.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have secondary education and some experience in maintenance work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel, motel, and resort premises, including:

  • Operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and waste
  • Washing windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Making minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contacting contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and fixtures
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

The Maintenance Worker will also be required to perform safety and security checks, move heavy furniture and equipment, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent physical stamina, be able to work under pressure, and handle heavy loads.

You will also need to be dependable, flexible, and reliable, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
