Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Sysco Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues with commercial vehicles
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Adjust and repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Coach and instruct apprentices
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement
  • Diesel engines area of specialization
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Steel-toed safety boots
