Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the transportation logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units and departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate and submit regular reports on logistics operations, including metrics and performance indicators.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work on computer equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Training and Development: Train workers in duties and policies, and arrange training for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess efficient interpersonal skills, be organized, reliable, and a team player with analytical skills.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field
