Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Oyster Freight Services Inc. This role is responsible for coordinating and supervising the transportation logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Logistics Plans: Create and execute specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize logistics operations.
  • Coordinate Activities: Collaborate with other work units or departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate and submit regular reports to management on logistics operations and performance.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and train workers in duties and policies.
  • Requisition Materials: Order and requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in transportation logistics or a related field.
  • Skills: Efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliable, team player, analytical, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team and provide excellent customer service.

Language and Hours

The work language is English, and the work hours are 35 to 40 hours per week.
