Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Rebar Detailer Trainee to join our team at Harris Rebar. As a Rebar Detailer Trainee, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and specifications for rebar reinforcement in concrete structures. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in rebar detailing and CAD design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed drawings and specifications for rebar reinforcement in concrete structures.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete designs.
  • Use CAD software to create and edit designs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in rebar detailing and CAD design.
Requirements
  • Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting or related field.
  • At least six months experience with AutoCAD and Windows-based software.
  • Ability to read architectural/engineering blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage time effectively.
