Crescent Oral Surgery, a leading provider of oral surgery services in Ontario, is seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Specialist to join our team. Our organization operates multiple locations across the GTA, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of sterilization and infection control.
Salary and BenefitsThis full-time position offers a competitive salary of $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we offer a range of benefits, including dental and medical coverage, employee assistance programs, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
Job DescriptionThe Sterilization Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all medical devices and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained to meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy. This includes:
- Sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment using high-temperature steam sterilization and other methods
- Preparing and assembling sterile trays and kits for surgical procedures
- Performing daily biological tests and maintaining accurate logs
- Managing inventory and supplies to ensure seamless clinic operations
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum completion of Medical Device Reprocessing certificate
- At least 1 year of experience in a medical device reprocessing role
- Demonstrated knowledge of instrument technology and high-temperature steam sterilization
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
