Sterilization Specialist

Crescent Oral Surgery, a leading oral surgery practice in the GTA, is seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.

Based in Aurora, Ontario, this full-time position offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.

About the Role:

• Sort, clean, and process surgical instruments with precision and attention to detail
• Clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical kits for multiple procedures using high-temperature steam sterilization and other forms of sterilization
• Utilize knowledge of multiple instruments to assemble surgical trays for multiple procedures for surgeons
• Perform daily biological tests for multiple processors and maintain accurate logs
• Inventory control of equipment and supplies to ensure seamless clinic operations

About You:

• A minimum completion of Medical Device Reprocessing certificate is required, and 1+ year(s) of experience in a medical device reprocessing role is preferred
• Knowledge of instrument technology and high steam sterilization is essential
• You must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently and understand verbal work orders
• Basic computer knowledge and strong organizational skills are necessary for success in this role
