Visual Retail Manager

Job Description:
The Store Visual Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and profit goals in the store by setting a clear plan to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role ensures the store has the best team, supports their development, and works with succession planning, talent development, and structured performance management based on results, values, and leadership.
Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Store Visual Manager leads a team of Visual Merchandisers and Key & Visual Merchandisers. The key responsibilities include:
- Sales and Profit: Ensuring garment presentation in windows and in-store aligns with the Commercial Handbook, leading the team to maximize commercial opportunities within H&M brand guidelines, and analyzing key KPIs to increase profit and support commercial planning.
- Fashion Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with current fashion trends, sharing seasonal trend information, upcoming campaigns, and brand standards with the store team.
- Customer Service: Meeting customer expectations on direct service according to H&M standards and supporting the store to achieve excellent customer service.
In addition to these core responsibilities, the Store Visual Manager will also focus on:
- Visual Store Operational Routines: Securing sample picking for clear stories and wearable buying suggestions, following best practices on visual merchandiser material, props, and marketing material, and maintaining an organized and safe visual room.
- Analysis: Staying updated on products and sales activities, setting store visual goals, and facilitating follow-ups.
- People and Teams: Supporting and leading the entire Store team to increase shopping and working experiences, ensuring employee relation responsibilities, legal requirements, and H&M policies are fulfilled.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications a plus.
- Experience: 1-2+ years of transferrable experience welcome.
- Skills: Inclusive, positive, creative, and willing to learn on the job; passionate for customer service and helping people find their style; ability to coach and counsel staff on performance management and progressive discipline techniques.
