Job Summary:

As a Transportation Engineer at Consor Engineers, you will lead the delivery of roadway improvement projects from conceptual design to construction. You will manage all aspects of schematic or PS&E plan preparation for roadway projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  2. Oversee the design of roadway, highway, and traffic engineering projects.
  3. Contribute to business development and proposal efforts.
  4. Collaborate with client account management leads to win projects.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  2. Minimum eight years of transportation engineering experience.
  3. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  4. Proficiency in AutoCad and Civil3D software.

This role operates between an office environment and a field environment. It requires the use of standard office equipment and occasional exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, and atmospheric conditions.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting, moving, standing, talking, hearing, and occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and feeling. This role may occasionally require operating a company vehicle and lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.
