Transforming Transportation Infrastructure

We're seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead our Ontario Transportation Group in Markham, Canada.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing a wide range of municipal planning and design projects, from proposal to close-out. Your expertise will be invaluable in delivering high-quality project deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction, and promoting best practices in the delivery of highway, road, and bridge projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams for preliminary and detail design road and bridge projects for municipal clients.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of project management, including budgeting, scheduling, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to intermediate and junior staff.
  • Support business development, including capture planning and leading proposals.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the business development strategy for relevant clients.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Ontario P.Eng designation required (or eligible).
  • 20+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience.
  • Experience working with municipal transportation clients within the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven track record of developing, mentoring, and leading professional technical staff.
