About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases. Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, PROBLEM-SOLVING, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including joint ventures, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and providing insights and recommendations to inform business strategy
- Traveling as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in sales meetings
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in sales and supply chain management, preferably in the freight forwarding logistics space
- A hunter mentality and ability to grow a book of business through proactive outreach and relationship-building
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners
- A self-starter attitude, with the ability to operate successfully with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects and initiatives
- Good planning and resource allocation skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A work permit is required for this position
